Jody McColman is an actor and playwright based in Portland, Maine. Jody has performing steadily in southern Maine and seacoast New Hampshire for the past several years. Recent favorites include Brian in "The Shadow Box" at Old Port Playhouse, the one-man show "This Wonderful Life" at the Footlights in Falmouth, Wooer in "Vigils" at Mad Horse Theater Company, Benedick in "Much Ado About Nothing" at Lyric Music Theater, and, most recently Michael O'Neal in David Butler's "The Grand O'Neal" at Deertrees Theater. Jody's plays have been produced in Maine and Massachusetts. His short play "Schrödinger's Roulette" was produced as a part of the 2014 Maine Playwrights Festival; his short play "The Interview" was produced as a part of Roxbury Repertory Company's 2014 "6 Playwrights in Search of a Stage" and was September 2014 as a part of The Crowbait Club's "King of Crows: Return of the King;" and his short play "Port City Blues" was produced by the Santa Cruz Actors' Theatre's 8 10s @ 8 festival in January 2015.
